Supporting the Grassroots Game of Football as a Football Coach working with all age groups from U6 to U16. Developing players that have shown exceptional potential in the pre-academy age range and making informed opinions to promote their development. Been invited to also work with Development U16s to Open Age Adults team set-ups too.
Have used my coaching experience to adapt playing philosophies to meet individual players needs in a player centred approach.
Past 5 Years Experience:
Trained and coached teams throughout U6 pre-academy tournaments and leagues
Successfully progressed players development through seeing them play a range of game formats
Trained and coached these teams progressively up the age ranges U6s, U7s, U8s and U9s at League and Tournament level (ABC Premier)
Trained and coached teams against other pre-academy hosts such as Southampton FC, Fulham FC, Oxford United FC and Chelsea. This has led to invitations to work with pre-academy clubs in casual work positions from Reading FC and Oxford United FC.
Connected to a network of other members of the Talent ID and Scouts working with Southampton FC, Fulham, Oxford United and Swindon Town.
Took on a Development Coach role with U16’s leading pre-season training before being invited to step up and take on a First Team Coach role with a Step 7 Men’s Team (AFC Winkfield).
Recently took on a Consulting Coaching role with a start-up Open Age Women’s Team to help promote the Women’s game (Bracknell Ladies).
Brought in to work with an established Open Age Southern Region Women’s Tier 5 Team as part of the new coaching staff with the role Head Coach. (Woodley United).
Experience of navigating conversations with Senior Stakeholders, designing and implementing programmes of work and infrastructure, building relationships with all parties are just an example of skills I have developed in my career so far. Crossing boundaries of working in several sectors and focusing on pushing for more opportunities for those who have not held the “privilege” of others, underpins my practice of community engagement. I hold high my work ethic and passion which was highlighted during the National Talent Identification & Scouting in Football Course at St George’s Park. This resulted in Neil Sillett, Lead Talent ID Course Leader for the FA and National Scout Coordinator for Southampton personally reaching out to offer to be my referee for any future professional football roles. A huge compliment and honour.
